Uorfi Javed shared the social media post on her Instagram Stories after noticing the claim about her equation with Karan Johar. The post suggested that Johar had deliberately ignored her because she was a self-made personality.
Rather than agreeing with the claim, Uorfi directly pushed back against it. She made it clear that Karan has not ignored her during their interactions.
According to Uorfi’s response, the two continue to greet each other normally whenever they meet. Her clarification therefore appears to dismiss the idea of any deliberate coldness or personal issue between them.
Uorfi Javed Also Reacts To The ‘Nepo Kid’ Comment
Uorfi’s response also included a reference to the person dressed in white who appeared in the picture accompanying the original post. She referred to that person as a “nepo kid”, but did not explain who exactly she was referring to.
The comment added another layer to the social media discussion, especially because nepotism and opportunities for outsiders have frequently been part of conversations surrounding the entertainment industry.
However, Uorfi’s main point remained clear: she did not agree with the claim that Karan Johar had ignored her.
Karan Johar And Uorfi Javed Have Crossed Paths Before
Karan Johar and Uorfi Javed have previously been connected through the entertainment industry. Uorfi appeared on Bigg Boss OTT, where Johar hosted the first season, and she later participated in the Karan Johar-hosted reality show The Traitors India.
More recently, Uorfi emerged as one of the winners of The Traitors alongside Nikita Luther, making her journey from reality-show contestant to winner another notable chapter in her career.
This latest clarification does not point to a feud between Uorfi and Karan. Instead, it shows Uorfi herself rejecting an assumption about their equation and making her stance clear.
