The game has barely begun, but The Traitors Season 2 has already delivered one major surprise. Munawar Faruqui, who entered the reality show with plenty of experience in strategy-based formats, has been eliminated in the opening week.

Meanwhile, Mallika Sherawat has emerged as one of the biggest entertainment highlights of the season, bringing a completely different energy to the castle.

Hosted by Karan Johar, The Traitors 2 brings together a fresh group of celebrities for a game built around trust, deception, alliances and secret identities. The early episodes suggest that playing too aggressively can be just as risky as staying quiet.

Munawar Faruqui’s Strategy Backfires In The Traitors 2

Munawar Faruqui’s biggest problem appears to have been his visibility. Instead of keeping a low profile in the initial days, he actively interacted with contestants, built multiple connections and tried to understand everyone’s game.

That approach ultimately made him look like a major strategic threat. Abhishek Malhan was among those who identified the danger early, and Munawar became the first contestant to be voted out during the opening week’s Circle of Shaq.

His elimination is a reminder that experience can sometimes work against a contestant in a deception-based game. Being known as a strong reality-show player can make it difficult to remain unnoticed.

Abhishek Malhan And The Traitors Are Already Creating Suspicion

Abhishek Malhan has made an early impression by identifying Harman Singha as suspicious. But that move could also expose Abhishek, because once a player starts correctly identifying hidden Traitors, the Traitors themselves know exactly whom they need to watch.

The season’s secret Traitors include Aaditya Kulshreshth aka Kullu, Krystle D’Souza and Harman Singha, with Shahneel Gill joining later. Kullu appears relatively composed, while Harman has already attracted suspicion from multiple contestants.

Mallika Sherawat Is The Biggest Vibe Of The Season

Then comes Mallika Sherawat. Her presence immediately adds glamour and personality to the show, with her fashion, confidence and unmistakable one-liners making her difficult to ignore.

Unlike contestants trying hard to establish themselves strategically, Mallika’s biggest strength so far is simply her screen presence. Krystle D’Souza, Rhea Chakraborty, Parul Gulati and Kullu have also made early impressions.

The Traitors 2 has started with enough drama to keep the game interesting, but Munawar’s shock exit has already proved that overplaying can come with a heavy price.
