A Traumatic Confrontation
In her video, Kashish describes the horrifying moment when she stopped her cook in the lift and asked him to show his pockets. She saw ₹50,000 in his pocket, but he reportedly pinned her and told her not to call anyone. Despite the physical distress—she says she felt like vomiting—Kashish held her ground. She even ran down 20 floors to catch him and later posed a trap at her flat entrance, all while police were alerted.
FIR Registered, But No Guarantees
Kashish filed an FIR against the cook at the Amboli police station on July 9, 2025. However, the police warned her there’s no assurance of recovering her money. She said she didn’t inform her family earlier to avoid worrying them, and admitted she felt deeply betrayed, especially since the cook denied taking more than ₹50,000—even as she claimed ₹7 lakh was missing.
